PowerWash Bros – Terms of Service

Welcome to PowerWash Bros. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully.


1. Definitions

“Company”: Refers to PowerWash Bros, including any affiliated entities.

“Client”: The individual or entity engaging the services of the Company.

“Services”: The cleaning and maintenance services provided by the Company, including but not limited to exterior property cleaning, patio and driveway cleaning, gutter cleaning, and window cleaning.


2. Services Provided

PowerWash Bros offers professional exterior cleaning services, including:

Exterior Property Cleaning: Comprehensive cleaning of building exteriors to remove dirt, grime, and organic growth.

Patio & Driveway Cleaning: Removal of stains, moss, and debris to restore surfaces.

Gutter Cleaning: Clearing of gutters to ensure proper water drainage and prevent damage.

Window Cleaning: Streak-free cleaning of windows for enhanced clarity and appearance.

All services are executed by trained professionals using industry-standard equipment and eco-friendly products where applicable.


3. Booking and Cancellation

Booking: Clients can schedule services through our website, by phone, or via email. A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a confirmation message from the Company.

Cancellation by Client: A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee up to 50% of the service cost.

Cancellation by Company: The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances, including adverse weather conditions. In such cases, clients will be notified promptly to arrange an alternative appointment.


4. Pricing and Payment

Quotations: Prices are determined based on the scope of work, property size, and any additional services requested. All quotations are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days.

Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include cash, bank transfer, and major credit/debit cards.

Late Payments: Overdue payments may incur interest charges at a rate of 4% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.


5. Client Responsibilities

To facilitate efficient service delivery, clients are responsible for:

Access: Ensuring clear and safe access to the areas to be serviced, including the removal of vehicles or obstacles.

Utilities: Providing access to necessary utilities, such as water and electricity, required for the execution of services.

Property Preparation: Securing windows, doors, and other openings to prevent water ingress, and informing the Company of any fragile or sensitive areas.

Safety: Keeping pets and children away from work areas during service to ensure safety.


6. Health and Safety

PowerWash Bros adheres to strict health and safety protocols, including:

Risk Assessments: Conducting assessments prior to commencing work to identify potential hazards.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ensuring all staff are equipped with and utilize appropriate PPE.

Chemical Handling: Using eco-friendly and approved cleaning agents, with staff trained in their proper handling and application.

Clients are expected to adhere to any safety instructions provided by our team during service delivery.


7. Liability and Insurance

Damage to Property: The Company will take all reasonable precautions to protect client property. However, we are not liable for:

• Pre-existing damage or wear and tear.

• Damage resulting from inadequate maintenance or structural weaknesses.

Accidental Damage: Any accidental damage caused by our team will be assessed, and the Company will repair or compensate at its discretion.

Insurance: PowerWash Bros maintains public liability insurance up to £5 million to cover any unforeseen incidents.


8. Biocide Treatment Disclaimer

Treatment Efficacy: Biocide treatments are designed to inhibit organic growth. However, environmental factors may influence the longevity of results.

Compliance: All biocide products used are compliant with UK regulations, and our team is biocide registered.

Post-Treatment Care: Clients will be provided with guidelines for post-treatment care to maximize effectiveness.


9. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Complaints: If dissatisfied with our service, clients should contact us within 48 hours of service completion. We aim to resolve complaints within 7 working days.

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR): In the event a complaint cannot be resolved internally, we will inform clients of their rights to seek ADR, in compliance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.


10. Privacy and Data Protection

Data Collection: Personal data collected during the booking process is used solely for service delivery and administrative purposes.

Data Protection: We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. For more details, refer to our Privacy Policy.


11. Amendments to Terms

PowerWash Bros reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with the effective date indicated. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any amended Terms.


12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
